Joan is a critical thinker who generates creative solutions drawn out of deep experience across a wide spectrum of marketing communication tools. She founded Verve out a love of the power of aesthetics, design, and words to form impactful creative channeled to help brands making the world a better place. Prior to Verve, Joan worked on the client side for over 20 years helping to build businesses and brands in the corporate, non-profit, and agency worlds. Her work included bringing the New Living Translation to market and work for multi-million dollar nonprofit and professional organizations. Joan holds a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and MBA in Marketing from DePaul University.
Seth is an award-winning, solutions-oriented designer who is equally adept in both the digital and print worlds.
Seth took on the design leadership role at Verve in 2010. His influence is reflected in all agency work. Prior to Verve, Seth’s career included design leadership roles at Arc Worldwide/Leo Burnett, Euro RSCG, and Burrell Communications where he has brought his creative talents to brands such as Target Stores, McDonald’s, Starbucks, Verizon, Citi, and Proctor & Gamble. Recognition for Seth’s design work spans both print and digital including being featured in Print Magazine and numerous awards at Verve. Seth holds a B.A. in Visual Communications from Judson University and was one of forty design leaders selected for the Harvard Business School’s 2007 Business Perspectives for Design Leaders program.
