Web Maintenance Services
Every WordPress site needs ongoing technical upkeep, and few teams have staff who are experts in both web development and hosting. We’re on call for whatever technical needs arise, as well as for the content and design updates your internal team would rather not handle. Our web maintenance agreements keep your site healthy on every front — technical maintenance of the site and hosting, minor design and functional updates, and any content updates you’d rather not do yourself.
Technical Maintenance
We keep your site current from a technical standpoint and address any functional or visual issues that come up along the way. These often trace back to changes outside your site — a plugin update, a WordPress release, or a hosting hiccup. We keep your WordPress core, plugins, hosting, and PHP versions up to date, resolve issues as they arise, and answer questions along the way.
Verve Marketing Group’s philosophy is that clients should own their own websites. So we’re glad to handle maintenance on your server. We also provide hosting if you’d like it — but you’re never required to host your site with us.
Content Updating
When your team would rather hand something off, we’re here for it. Examples of the content and design work we handle within your web maintenance package include:
- Routine updates to copy, images, videos, PDFs
- Minor functionality and design updates
- Creation of new key graphics
- Navigation changes
- SEO consulting
- Ongoing advice and training to support staff throughout the year
Our goal is to keep your site looking and working its best for as long as possible, and we have a strong track record of maintaining sites well beyond industry norms. By helping you stay current and staying actively involved in how design and content changes get implemented, we help you keep a healthy, well-functioning site for years to come.
CMS Training
If your team prefers to handle routine updates and new content creation internally, we’ll train and provide ongoing support. We start with hands-on training over Zoom, using screen share to walk through each area you expect to add, edit, or delete for every type of content relevant to your site — adding events, pages, and blog posts; updating bios; changing prices; adding products; and whatever else your site involves.
If you’re already comfortable in WordPress, you’ll be fine from day one. If you’re newer to it, questions naturally come up once you start making changes — often just to double-check or confirm you’re on the right track. That’s exactly what we’re here for. We respond quickly, so there’s no need to struggle or dig back through your notes. Just email us what you’re trying to do and what’s happening (or not happening), and we’ll get back to you — often with a screenshot or a short video. Everyone learns differently: some prefer step-by-step directions, others want to see it demonstrated. Either way, we want your team to feel confident keeping the site updated and looking great. We’ve been training teams on WordPress for 18 years, and we welcome your questions.
